A tax on animal products such as meat, dairy and eggs. The tax could apply to producers as well as consumers.
Why the contribution is important
Animal agriculture is an inefficient way to grow food. It is one of the biggest greenhouse gas emitters on the planet. Animal products should be taxed to reflect this damage to the planet.
